How to connect AirPods (or Wireless Headphones) to Nintendo Switch

Connecting Airpods to Nintendo Switch

I have been asked multiple times, how to quickly and easily connect/ Pair AirPods or any wireless earphones to Nintendo Switch with great functionality. I hear you and here I have a great way to do so.

Hello, Guys many of you might haave this question or many of you might have struggled to connect your Apple Airpods or any other Wireless earphone to Nintendo switch.

So in this short article I am gonna be showing you how you can pair your Apple Airpods to your Nintendo switch.

Unfortunately, the Nintendo switch does not have this capability natively built into it but it’s still relatively easy to accomplish as long as you get a Bluetooth adapter.

So I went over to Amazon and tried couple of Bluetooth adapters. I was trying to find a Bluetooth adapter for the Nintendo switch that looked the best and had the best functionality. The one that I ended up going with is from the Home Spot.

I’ve been really happy with this particular Bluetooth adapter and if you’re interested in getting this for your Nintendo switch you can follow this link here.

It’s just really easy to accomplish, you just take this nice low profile designed Bluetooth adapter and that was a big selling point with this particular Bluetooth adapter, and also it looks really nice in comparison to a lot of the other options.

You just turn on your Nintendo switch and you can actually pair two sets of headphones, the Blue is for player one the Red is for player two. And it also has an internal microphone built into the adapter itself.

You have to just hold down the pairing button (Blue or Red) with of course the Nintendo switch screen being on, you just hold it down for like 3 to 5 seconds and it will go into pairing mode.

And then you need to open your Apple Airpods and hold down the pairing button on Airpods for like 5 or so seconds so that it goes into pairing mode with that light blinking and then it should pair relatively quickly and then you should be all set up and ready to go at that point in time.

So I’ve been really happy with how well this has been working and how easy it was to pair but you might be thinking to yourself well, that’s great for when the Nintendo switch isn’t docked but then what do you do if it’s docked?

Because it’s going to be taking that Type C port to charge your Nintendo switch of course. Don’t worry. the Bluetooth adapter also comes along with an additional little USB adapter.

You can plug the Bluetooth adapter into this little USB adapter and then you can plug the whole Bluetooth adapter into the dock of the Nintendo switch so that it can power up the Bluetooth adapter.

And then you can still use your wireless headphones at that point through the dock. So you have both options here whether your Nintendo switch is docked or not to be able to go ahead and pair it with your wireless headphones so that it will work in both of those situations.

So, guys, like I’ve been saying, I’ve been really happy with this particular product and if you’re interested in having this capability with your Nintendo switch you can follow this Amazon Link Here.
